POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Accountant position is responsible for a range of general ledger and various reports to support the efficient operation of the finance team and other departments.
Looking for a candidate who is positive and has a calm approach to their workload.
Someone who is available immediately or at very short notice is highly desirable.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Ledger/Reporting Responsibilities
Process end of month journals and assist in preparing monthly management accounts.
Bank reconciliations.
Goods in transit, Inventory recs
Assisting to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for management review.
Take ownership of assigned balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations, ensure all balances are reconciled monthly.
Assisting financial controller for annual statutory audit and banking audits.
Maintain company’s fixed assets register.
Calculation of Australian tax requirements including BAS, FBT etc.
Preparation of ad-hoc reports/analysis requested by management.
Calculation of intercompany receivable /payable transactions to all intercompany accounts, allocation of payments and invoicing.
Assisting with tax return queries and audit queries
Maintaining a safe work environment for self and fellow workers.
Regular housekeeping (filing, archiving etc.)
Provide backup for AP, AR and Payroll officers and Inventory controller.
Other ad-hoc duties as required by management.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Strong accounts reconciliation knowledge – must have
Intermediate to advanced Excel – must have.
Be able to build spreadsheets from scratch – must have.
Navision 365 user – well desired, but not compulsory
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work collaboratively within a team.

Sound judgment to work within the scope of authority to undertake the work required.
Demonstrated ability to develop professional working relationships with staff.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chiller Technician is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and repairs of SMARDT Chillers and related products and services. The Chiller Technician works closely with the service team and other department staff where further training will be given to ensuring the highest levels of customer service, assistance, and advice at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out the commissioning, maintenance, service repairs and assembly of SMARDT Chillers throughout Victoria, including breakdown repairs that may require working outside of normal business hours.
Work closely with the Service Team and other department staff to identify and communicate service-related matters that will assist Smardt customers and products.
Support the achievement of Smardt direct service provision in Victoria, while always maintaining safe work practices.
Other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
2+ years’ experience working on central plant air-conditioning systems.
Strong understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning system basic principles.
Building management system / controls experience (Beneficial).
Demonstrated understanding of Danfoss Turbocor compressors (Beneficial).
QUALIFICATIONS / LICENCES
Australian trade certificate in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning.
Unrestricted Refrigeration Handling Licence (ARC).
Valid full driver's licence.
Restricted Electrical licence D.
Current White or Red Cards.
Current Working with Children Check..
